Folio. Bound in pictorial paper wrappers stapled together. Four full page and one double page die-cut colour illustrations with characters and objects meant to be pushed out and propped up to produce a pop-up effect. Colour illustrations inspired by the Tenniel originals. Since significant use or any misuse would wreck this fragile item, intact copies are probably pretty scarce. This one is virtually unused The verso of each illustration is printed with the names appropriate to each stand-up. Light creasing to wraps, corners creased, heavy rubbing to spine, light rubbing to surface of cover and two dents. Inside a small piece is missing under a tree in the first illustration and paper lightly discoloured through age, a not used copy. Otherwise a very good copy of a fragile item.
