The first English translation of Franz Rosenzweig's Stern der Erlösung (originally published in 1921; this translation from the second edition of 1930). Translated by William W. Hallo. Text block is clean and tight. Minor fraying to the tail of the spine. Dust Jacket is in good condition, but aged, with minor tears to the extremities; protected by a mylar cover. Overall, very nice copy of this important work by one of the leading German Jewish philosophers of the twentieth century.
