First Canadian Edition, Second Impression, 1948, Condition: Good Dust jacket: Good Illustrated by Charles DeFoe. The blue boards are solid, yet the back board has discolouration (see picture). The stamped orange wolf design and spine titles are not faded. Dust jacket has rubbing, small tears, foxing, and chipping on all edges (see picture). The green DJ cover is bright, not faded. Text block is tight, clean and unmarked, except a pasted newspaper clipping of Roderick Haig-Brown and owner's inscription on open end paper. Wrapped in mylar.
