First edition, first printing, 1865, softcover pamphlet in good condition. 30 pages plus blank plus wraps. In original paper wraps. No writing inside or out. Edges are chipped, ink stain upper outer edge not affecting text, pages are toned, corners bumped. Author put together this pamphlet to encourage the public to encourage the Union Navy to consider his designs for a warship. Scarce. None listed for sale; 2 found at auction. WorldCat locates ~18 copies of this first edition. Although this copy has some condition issues it is still pretty nice. Please see scans of the item you will receive. Feel free to inquire.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Default shipping is via media mail. If you would like priority please contact me and we can arrange it.

A note about shipping outside the US:
Shipping costs from the United States to anywhere outside the U.S. have gone up astronomically. While USPS First Class International is the least expensive, no tracking is provided. Since the beginning of 2020 this class of shipping has become unreliable. Priority Mail International is now the best option and much more expensive. Small lightweight books can be shipped for less than the price indicated so feel free to contact me and I will reduce fee to actual cost.
