First edition in English, first printing. Bound in publisher's original red cloth with spine lettered in black. Near Fine with fading to cloth at foot, heavy foxing to textblock edge, preliminary and terminal sheets and lighter so to contents throughout; contents tanned. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket toned at spine and edges, light edge wear with chipping to the crown and several creases to the flaps. A beautiful copy of one of the author's best-known works.
