The book was a High School writing lab book and has a number taped to the outer spine and several stamps. The cover notes this as an alternate first edition. The covers have some wear on the faces and at the corners but look pretty good. The spine is tight with minor wear around the edges. The pages are white with minor edgewear and no marks besides the library stuff. 12 chapters are offered each with springboards to thinking, a reading survey, vocabulary building, spelling, sentence logic, a refresher exercise and springboards to writing.
