Publishers' mottled grey cloth with red titles to spine and tan endpapers, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket with author's photographic portrait to rear panel. With author Paddy Tunney's lengthy inscription to title page, signed and dated February 1981. Spine tips and corners a little bruised. Contents toned as usual for this title. Dust-jacket a touch surface soiled with small nicks & creases to top edge. Foreword by Benedict Kiely. Autobiographical work on traditional Irish songs and singers by the "Man of Songs" (1921-2002), with numerous examples in musical notation. Scarce, especially in the dust-jacket.
