This is quite a wonderful book, despite the dry title. It contains many photos of equipment and workplaces which open a window into another time, and also includes forms that would have been used at the time. Put it together and the researcher need look no further. The book is clean and tight with light wear to the boards but a sound binding. The first few pages have been creased, and page xiv of the table of contents has been soiled (and cleaned with an eraser), but the rest of the book is in excellent shape.

In addition to payment through Abebooks (the preferred method), payment can be
made via Paypal or personal check or money order for US transactions only. All international sales must be conducted through Abebooks. Paypal does not adjust the exchange rate.
In January 2016 the US postal service changed international shipping rates. Books weighing 2 lbs. or less (packed for shipping) ship at a reasonable rate. The rate for books over this weight has gone up dramatically. For this reason, the bookseller may contact you for extra funds for shipping. This will occur if the book is inexpensive but overweight. You have the opportunity to decline, in which case the sale will be cancelled and your credit card will not be processed.
