Poster chronologically illustrating calligraphic styles from the 2nd to 20th century; prepared by Theodor Jung in cooperation with Creative Graphics for the Univ. of Denver. Printed in colors; each style with an explanatory paragraph, dates of use, sample alphabets & numbers and examples of architectural and societal clothing styles through the ages via small black & white illustrations. Approx. 22" x 28" size; some surface-crinkling; reverse with a couple of old tape repairs at closed tears; old fold lines; in good condition and a pleasant educational aid introducing some of the history of calligraphy.
