First Edn., 1899; full blue cloth; titling and decorative floral border/illus. blocked in black/white full to front board; titling blocked in gilt (dulled) to spine; series title with decorative border/publisher's logo blocked in black to rear board; green endpapers printed with mosaic pattern; 228pp. + [i]p. publisher's catalogue; illus. bw. photos./drawings. Spine lightly rubbed/lightly crushed at top/tail, but clean/robust/quite bright; lightly soiled boards lightly bumped at bottom corners, but quite bright; page edges lightly foxed/slightly tanned; browning to verso front/rear free-endpapers, but pages generally clean/bright/very crisp; front hinge slightly tender, but binding secure, all complete/intact.
