Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Green cloth covers with gold lettering and design on front cover. Gold lettering and bands on the spine. All are clean and unmarked. Covers exhibit light wear, fraying and bumping on corners and spine ends. Light wear and soiling on upper end lower edges. Light shelf wear and soiling to covers and spine. Gift inscription to previous owner on the upper edge of the ffep. Yellowing to page ends, inside front and back covers, ffep's, bfep's and text due to age. Text is otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Illustrated with b&w photos which are in good condition. Very nice frontispiece photo in fine condition. This autobiography was written after the death of the Queen's husband King Ferdinand. It starts with the story of her childhood and youth. The Queen tells her story as "Roumania and I."
