1/4" Leather over tan cloth boards. I don't know if this copy was rebound in leather, or if there was a leather edition available at the time of publication in 1962. Previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. Subsequent pages are clean, unmarked, undamaged with very little toning. The book's hinges are secure. The reddish leather is edged with a double line of gilt on the covers with gilt lettering on the spine. Edges of the covers are beveled. There is very little soiling to the book's exterior but there is quite a bit of rubbing to leather, especially on the spine. The book will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. It might require extra funds for shipping outside of the United States. Seller Inventory # ABJ1563
