This book is in Very Good+ condition and is lacking a dust jacket. The book covers are mostly clean and bright. There is some rubbing to the lettering of the publisher on the bottom spine end of the book cover. The text pages are clean and bright. There is an inked number 10 on the front pastedown page, and a penciled previous owner's name on the top edge of the title page. "Callaghan's novels and short stories are marked by undertones of Roman Catholicism, often focusing on individuals whose essential characteristic is a strong but often weakened sense of self.
