Publisher's green cloth, gilt lettering on spine, gilt lettering + treble band around edges + two gilt emblems on front. Green eps. Covers : corners heavy bumps, top/bottom spine slight rubs & 0.3cm shelf knocks, book slight lean. Contents : one plate loose else clean, tight & unfoxed. Loose plate slight browned along one edge, very slight rubs other edge at corners - should re-tip in OK. VG.

We describe our books very carefully.
Every description ends with a declaration of overall condition - for example, F/VG means the book is fine condition with no faults and the dust wrapper is very good condition, complete and no significant loss although there may be a few slight marks or even some very minor chips.
The discription may be softened slightly for much older books.
We do accept payment by Sterling cheque.
We accept PayPal direct - please send to books@deightons.com.
We no longer accept credit cards direct, although you can pay by credit card using the PayPal facility.
Packing and postage is charged extra at cost, Royal Mail first class or MyHermes in the UK only.
In general, we do not send books on approval although exceptions can sometimes be made.
Condition is described as accurately as possible, but if you are dissatisfied, the book may be returned
within ten days of receipt.
