8°. 164 S. Farbig- und goldgeprägtes Oln. mit Jugendstilornamentik. Einband leicht stockfleckig und innen papierbedingt minimal gebräunt. Vorderes Gelenk innen teils minimal angeplatzt (Bindung aber völlig intakt). Insgesamt aber durchaus noch gutes Exemplar. Erste Ausgabe. WG 8. Preczang (1870-1949) war Buchdrucker und Dichter der Arbeiterbewegung. 1904-19 war er Redakteur der sozialdemokratischen Zeitschrift "In freien Stunden", einer Art linkem Gegenstück zur "Gartenlaube". 1924 gehörte er zu den Mitbegründern der Büchergilde Gutenberg, deren Cheflektor er bis 1927 war. 1933 ging er ins Schweizer Exil, wo er bis zu seinem Tode lebte.
