Red cloth over bevelled boards. Boards are faded along top edges and there is some repaired damage to spine. Corners and spine ends are frayed. Contents tight with usual library markings. Patterned e/p's are brittle and have been repaired with tissue paper. Map frontispiece is present. viii, 312, 429 & 453pp with 140 plates at rear. Published 1882 - 1884.
