'The Student's Book of Etching' by Ian Strang. This book is published by Sir Isaac Pitman and Sons Ltd, London. 1938. This books is a Hardcover, no dj. First. Slade School of Art educated, Ian Strang was the son of renowned etcher William Strang. 'The Student's Book of Etching' a book by Ian Strang, R.E. The cloth covered boards are grey with blue titles to front and spine. Grey cloth is now rubbed lightly with dustiness to front and back, with a few light marks to back. Spine is sun-darkened but complete and show old price of 5/- Overall, strong, solid boards. Contents bear a few dusty spots but are overall clean and unmarked with no writing etc. Frontispiece is an etching by the author and there are other examples of etchings by him throughout. Ian Strang studied at the Slade School of Art and exhibited at the Royal Academy. Not exlib and packed and sent with care. Seller Inventory # 100001983
