An 8vo hardcover and dust jacket (in a clear jacket cover) with observable moisture damage. With respect to the contents there is page stiffness and/or a bit of riffling throughout as well as some staining in the gutter of a number of early pages. There is also staining to the top, fore, and to a lesser extent the bottom edges of the text-block. At the same time, there is little or no staining to the text portions of the pages and aside from a penned name in the upper corner of the ffep, the contents appear mark-free. As a result, this book remains fully legible as well as being complete and securely bound. The black cloth-covered boards (with stamped gilt lettering) and the dust jacket also have some staining and there are a couple of nicks on the bottom edge of the boards. This book's 'Poor' rating, however, is a consequence of damage beyond the above-referenced staining; namely, the added presence of some grayish discoloration which may be indicative of a dusting of book mold. This discoloration is in areas adjacent to the fore edge of the rear paste-down, the lower board, the rear dust jacket flap, the rear of the dust jacket, and the paper underside of the dust jacket cover. Not surprisingly given all of the foregoing, this book also has a slight odor of mustiness. In short, a serviceable reading and reference copy depending on one's tolerance for this book's moisture damage. Seller Inventory # t11031
