Some slight marks to rear and front covers but otherwise tight and clean. This seems to be advertising the George Clark organisation by describing some of the types of sugar they manufactured for the brewing industry and includes a fascinating account of how the company, founded in 1854, works in 1947. Illustrated throughout. A certificate of analysis from their Broadway Works, Millwall Docks, is included with a cryptic comment " Your figures ( somewhat altered) fo June 23rd 1947." Seems to me to only have the one number, 100, filled in. Interesting historical insights. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
