This catalog consists of a printed volume and a CD-ROM that is fit into a sleeve adhered to the inside of the rear cover. "The printed volume contains 25 photographs selected to represent the principal artist in the Rubel Collection. These cornerstones of British photography are William Henry Fox Talbot, Hill and Adamson, Roger Fenton and Julia Margaret Cameron. The second part of this volume lists all of the 195 images in the collection. The CD-ROM enclosed within the catalog has permitted the reproduction of the entire Rubel Collection for the first time." Plates handsomely printed on uncoated paper by Meriden Printing include 3 gatefold by Fenton (two landscape/cloudscapes and an odalisque). Uncommon.
