Full color illustrated front and back board panels. Boards are scuffed and lightly soiled overall. Edges at head and tail of board spine are chipped and frayed. Fore-edge corner tips are rubbed through. Previous owner's info. on FFEP. Gutters are cracked in several places: at "The Sunny Side" first page; at mid-point where the book is reversed; and pp. 24-25 of The Sulky Side. Numerous near full page illustrations and many b&w in-text illustrations. A few margin smudges. No writing or internal tears. Text block is sound in spite of gutter cracks.
