Note that there are separate postage rates for Europe, including Republic of Ireland. 37 pages. Illustrated with some black and white photographs, but mainly log tables illustrating locomotive performance on the former LMS (Northern Counties Committee) - see sample pages. This booklet contains the performance tables referred to in the book NCC Saga, (see separate listing) without which the former book makes a lot less sense! A remarkable record of the sheer brilliance of locomotive performance achieved by an extraordinary group of engine men. For example, Page 22 gives the details of a mile a minute run over just 11.7 miles.
