This is the larger format with 92 pp. The smaller format--called a "pocket" Manual (Preface)--has 208 pp. The contents--both text and illustrations--of the two versions are identical. But due to the smaller page size, the pocket version has more pages. The illustrations in this American edition were the work of Neville Johnson of Philadelphia.
