Please find a luxiourously illustrated (75 tissue-guarded, color plates) large hard cover book titled: "Surrey" by A.R. Hope Moncrieff. The color illustrations are reproductions of paintings of Surrey by Sutton Palmer. There is a fold-out map of the area at the end of the book.
Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are clean and bright with rich colors and bright gilt titles but with some sort of splatter largely in the upper right-hand quadrant of the front cover. Inside, there is the former owner's bookplate paste-down on the front endpaper. Otherwise, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout, rich with color and beauty. There is at least one page near the front of the book which appears a bit toned, probably because of its proximity to the acids of the binding glues. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight, sound and straight. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
