About the Author

Charles Atwood received his Bachelor's Degree from Millsaps College and his Doctorate from Florida State University. He also researches emerging computer technologies that will enhance teaching of freshman chemistry. He is the author or co-author of over thirty papers appearing in the JOURNAL OF CHEMICAL EDUCATION, THE CHEMIST the JOURNAL OF RADIOANALYTICAL AND NUCLEAR CHEMISTRY, and several books. He is the Coordinator of Freshman Chemistry at the University of Georgia, which serves over 4,000 students per year.

Returns require pre-authorization from us, and are permitted only if the book is not as described or we accidentally send the wrong book from that listed. Return postage is refunded only if book is returned insured. Books containing CDs or DVDs, whether opened or not opened, may not be returned. We do not offer Dealer discounts and cannot drop-ship.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. All Books are shipped wrapped in bubble wrap before being sealed in waterproof bubble mailers. Our rates for Priority or Expedited shipping does not include the use of boxes due to the extremely high cost of mailing.
