Internally, the pages are clean with a neat contemporary inscription present to the upper corner of the front free end paper. Free of any foxing and tightly bound. The dust wrapper is in good only condition with a large chip to the spine tip. Smaller chips to the base of the spine, also to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. The publisher's printed price of 7s.6d.net is present to the front flap. A scarce book printed only one year after Swallows and Amazons. A possible candidate for restoration.
