Hardcover with original dust jacket, stated first edition. Boards are original blue cloth, front and spine panels stamped in orange, top edge stained red, other edges rough trimmed. Book itself is near fine. Cloth coors are bright with only minor toning, only flaw is a small ding on the back board, lower edge. Interior is clean and handwriting free. No bookplates. Pages lightly toned. No torn or loose pages, no hinge cracks - a nice square edition with good corners. All illustrations verified. The dust jacket is not so nice. Price is clipped on front flap. Someone reinforced the back of the DJ with masking tape and over the decades the glue has bled through. Some of the clear plastic covering of the DJ has de-laminated and chipped off and there's a large chunk missing from the front. See photos.
