The majority of pages remain unopened to the top edge.Uncommon for a copy of this work to have such bright pages.Collated, complete with all embellishments.With discussion of the ancient Greek, Roman, British, Anglo Saxon, Norman and English dress.A smart copy of this work. In a contemporary quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. Small loss to the spine and extremities. The front joint is split at the cloth, with the hinge remaining firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Plate at page 26 is heavily spotted, otherwise the page only suffers the odd light spot. Good. Seller Inventory # 728L20
