Stated first edition on copyright page. 8vo, 316pp. Illustrated with frontispiece and four black & white plates. Hardcover, bound in original blue cloth with red lettering to spine and cover. In the original brightly colored pictorial dustjacket. Top edge of text-block is dyed red. Book is in very good condition overall. Binding and hinges are intact and firm. Contents are clean and unmarked with no signs of prior ownership. Faint foxing to lower gutter of title-page. Mild shelf-wear and rubbing to extremities. The dustjacket is is unclipped ($2.00) and in good condition, with slight wear to edges including shallow loss to spine ends. Rear panel is missing a strip to 1 by 3.5 inch strip to top edge. Still bright and attractive, now protected in a new clear Mylar wrapper.
