Burroughs, Edgar Rice. Synthetic Men Of Mars. London. Methuen & Co. LTD. 1951 second edition. VG/VG-. Mild damp staining mainly evident to front board. Damp staining and moderate chipping to jacket. Jacket art was not the same as the American first edition but rather by G. P. Micklewright who apparently was a house artist for Methuen. Dealers plate to front past-down for Foyles a Charing Cross London book shop. 95.00; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall.
