Hardcover without dust jacket. Book with yellow cloth covers and ecru spine. Silver lettering noted to spine. Some sidcolorations to cover around edges. Some wear noted to corners. Pages clean and bright except for a discard stamp to ffep. The System is a huge impersonal machine. Indeed, Machine is used sometimes as a synonym for it. Whether System, Machine, Establishment, Administration, Organization or Bureaucracy, it is run by bureaucrats. Bureaucrats are real people, even as you and I, but they do the darndest things, especially during working hours. In the episodes in this book, we will note the symptoms we encounter without any pretense that we have catalogued them all. We will find that bureaucrats have enough pretensions without assuming any of our own.
