ix+324; faint browning and afew brown flecks on endpapers, covers clean and unworn, trace of dustiness to top edge of textblock; unclipped jacket (with UK-oriented blurb), scattered dark dust marks to back, edges slightly rubbed, top also has small nick, will add protective wrapper when ordered. A US study parallel in effect to Himmelweit's classic 1958 UK study, and reaching much the same conclusions. Remains of historical interest as the beginning of psychological concern and research into mass media effects on children.
