First state dust jacket - When Davidson received an advance copy he realized there was an error on front dj flap - Tennessee river does NOT flow through Georgia - so new 2nd state DJs were printed correcting error and eliminating 'Volume I' from cover and spine. Only a few reveiw copies were sent out before the change. Rinehart 'R' device printed on copyright page, (1st printing) Condition of the book is Very Good; exterior excellent, previous owner's name on ffep, text and illustrations are very clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is Good; light wear at edges, small chips at spine ends, one inch tear at bottom edge of rear cover, light water stain on rear cover, water stains on reverse side, price-clipped . STK.
