Green washable cloth imitating grained calf leather, with gilt titles and decoration to spine and front, 210 x 145 mm approx. Top edge gilt, illustrated end papers 286 pp. Illustrated frontis and title, some unspecified chapter head and tail vignettes and four other full page illustrations by Rex Whistler. Sequel to "Down the Garden Path" and about, his then, home; a Tudor thatched cottage in Glatton , Cambridgeshire. First Edition 1st print 1933. Good (Book- rubbing to cloth at extremities, mainly colour loss however small chip to tail of 3/4mm approx. No previous owner name or insc. Discreet original bookseller label to rear paste down.
