COPNTENTS DESCRIPTION: Clark/Brunet #161: "Flint went west as a missionary in 1815, first to Ohio and Kentucky, then to Missouri in 1816. He resigned as a missionary just three years later and traveled south, finally settling in Louisiana. He traveled widely, even into Spanish Texas.
