Full color pictorial boards with minor chipping to spine as usual with this title; also, minor shelf wear and dusting for a rather nice, tight copy of the book. Thirty-one numbered pages printed on rectos only, with a most wonderfully inventive full color drawings by Peter Newell on each page that can be viewed both right side up as well as upside down. When viewed upside down, the drawings are transformed into completely different images capable of standing on their own. All of the drawings have captions and when viewing the drawings upside down, the transformed drawings and captions respond to the original drawings. Internally the book is bright and clean and still tightly bound. This is an amazing book and has been my favorite children's book since I first discoved it in the early 1980's. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD +. Rare in nice condition as the handling required to view the transformations usually lead to this title's early demise. Seller Inventory # 000139
