Beautifully bound in dark teal cloth boards stamped in black and gilt, under a very lightly worn jacket with shallow chipping at spine ends (not affecting any lettering). There has been marker restoration to the black edges of the jacket, (showing on rear side) otherwise it appears near fine over an unmarked book. Basis for the film starring Robert Mitchum, by the author of "The Ox-Bow Incident". A terrific copy.
