(Series binding). top outer corner badly bumped and rubbed, front joint tender with some cloth splitting. half-title + f/piece engr. portrait of Stokes with tanned tissue guard + liii + 596, all edges red; light tanning to t.p. + verso fr. end-paper and half title, occ. spots elsewhere but far less than usual for this series, fr. end-gutter opening. Unusually lacking a series half-title with Volume number, though no sign of this being removed. 14 cm x 22 cm.
