This is a UK hardcover first printing of both volumes of this title, published by William Miller in 1808. The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading as Good condition for their age. The books have straight spine and firm boards with sharp, but scuffed, corners. However the sine ends are damaged with pieces missing from the top and bottom of volume 1 and the title long lost from volume 2. The page edges are marble pattern design, which matches the end papers of each book. The binding of each volume in nice and tight, with ex-libris owner labels glued to the inside board of each book. The end papers themselves are foxed and toned but the text itself is clean with only the odd mark to the occasional page. The title page confirms Volume 1 and Volume 2, and year of publication 1808. This set is the original presentation and binding as first printed and although worn, they're still an attractive set.

Terms of sale
All books in my store are my own and in my possession. I expect customers to read my listings fully and look at all photos and be aware of the terms. I will work with everyone to resolve issues but I expect the same courtesy back - if I don't reply to an email within 24 hours it means I haven't received it so you'll need to resend.
Shipping terms
I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL parcels sent to the UK and USA are tracked. USA tracking I update immediately the book is sent, but UK tracking details are only updated when 10 working days has passed. If you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on extra postage and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
