About this Item

Red cloth blind stamped cover with gilt is lightly scuffed, caps are lightly crushed, corners are bumped and lightly rubbed but cover is in very good condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Former owner's name written in pen on to margin of title page. Pages are in very good condiiton. Several B&W illustrations. Dust jacket has shelf rubbing, wear to the extremities including chipping and tearing but DJ is in fair condition. Publisher's price of $1.95 on DJ flap. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover. We add mylar covers to all books with DJs to preserve the DJs and add luster to magnify their beauty. (If pictured, shown without the mylar cover for an accurate representation of dust jacket. ) First Modern Library Edition; First Printing.
