8vo. First edition. Limited of 165 copies. One of 150 copies bound in Bemboka, with a printed paper label to the spine, and endpapers printed on Moriki froma block by Dean Bornstein. Set in Janson with Fournier titling and printed on Saunders Mold-Made "Cream" paper. Frontispiece photograph of Auden, clutching a cat and with the inevitable cigarette in the other hand, by George Cserna. Wood engravings by Dean Bornstein. Fine. Ansen was Auden's Boswell and this selection has been chosen from 'four bound composition books and eighty closely-typed loose sheets as he dashed down what he remembered Auden saying.'.
