Light wear to books, minor mottling to spines; jackets show some rubbing, tanned torn & scuffed spines (minor internal mends with archival tape to volume 2), minor chipping & edgewear, a few small spots & scuffs; page edges show some foxing/spotting, mostly to the top edge; ink names, dates, & a college affiliation on each free endsheet - esteemed Yale classicist Joseph Solodow and (perhaps) Harvard-educated rare book dealer Fred Schreiber, at one time a teacher at CUNY, of which the cited Queens College was a part.
