The book is in fine unused condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, clean, no page creases, no foxing, tight binding, never used having been purchased directly from the publisher and kept in climate controlled storage for years. The original dust jacket is in new condition with no tears, no chips, no loss, clean. The dust jacket is in rare unfaded condition. Almost every copy of this jacket has spine fading where the orange coloring of the spine has faded to white. This example has the original orange coloring bright and not faded (since the book was kept in a box for years not exposed to light). The book measures 222mm tall x 145mm and has 197 pages. Novel about a hedonistic, party-going climber in North Wales, Lake District, Ben Nevis, Old Man of Hoy, with climax in Yosemite and his eventual demise. Written by climbers.
