First published trade edition with the frontispiece as a facsimile and re-backed in black calf on the spine. The book is in very good condition with some wear and creasing to boards and previous owner's name to endpaper. The pages are clean with restoration to page 9/10 with facsimile replacement of the last three lines on page 9. The boards of the book are in the original publisher's gray paper. This First Trade Edition of 8000 copies was issue in both brown and gray paper boards with no priority. A lovely copy with the First Issue point of "wept big tears" on page 51.
