Book is tight, square, and unmarked bur for gift inscription on the front pastedown. Book Condition: Fine. DJ: Good+; two closed tears on front jacket; chipping along top edge, light rubbing and age browning. Price on flap is inked out but visible. Tan cloth boards and spine with bold brown lettering on spine and front board with drawing of Sam on a horse on the front board. 100 pp 8vo. This new book on Sam Bass contains new details and re-interpretation of the man and the legend. Sam Bass was known as "Robinhood on a Fast Horse" or the "Beloved Bandit". The incidents related are relatively accurate and verified and occurred with the "Bass Gang" along the Chisholm Trail at Round Rock, TX. A clean and very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
