Add to basketOctavo. Pale green cloth covered boards and spine with black lettering on both the spine and the front board. Book has plenty of bumping at the head and tail of the spine and light bumping at the tips of a couple of the corners, all with light accompanying rubbbing. Cloth worn thin at the extremities, and there are a couple tiny closed tears and a little bit of fraying at the head and tail of the spine. Spine is sunned almost to a brown color - lettering is still readable, but barely. Fair amount of evidence of handling over time over the boards and spine alike. Cream colored endpapers have some black ink along the upper edge and at the very tip of the upper outside corner of the free front endpaper. Previous owner's note on the free front endpaper has been erased, but is still faintly visible. Binding still feels pretty firm, and the hinges are intact. Some foxing and darkening to the outside edges of the text block and cream colored pages within have a few spots, but are mostly clean and crisp. 301 pages. Dust Jacket - is a facsimile jaclet but has still worn over time: about 1/2" of the head of the spine is chipped away and 1/4" of the tail. Couple small chips here and there along the upper and lower edges of the rear cover, with some light accompanying wrinkles between them on the lower edge. Light rubbing along the outside edges, but colors are still bright. For the wear, it still is a pretty nice looking copy, mostly on account of the jacket. Part of a large and inclusive collection of Edgar Rice Burroughs books, many of which are first printings; if there's a different Burroughs book you've been searching for, please inquire, as we probably have a copy or two.
