Finely engraved frontispiece plate of a chained reclining man overseen by three angels captioned "The Oppressor holds His Body bound but knows not what a range His Spirit takes." Pp. 193. 1 vols. 12mo. Other copies of this work examined did not have the frontispiece which may be inserted from another edition but it has offsett and if inserted was done near contemporary. "The "Life" may be by H. T. Griffith who edited and contributed the "Life" in many of the contemporary English editions. S & S 19882. S & S 19882 Contemporary tree sheep, black morocco label.
