About the Author

Urban Districts Alliance (UDA) Formed in 1997 as a recommendation by Vision 20/20, serves as an umbrella organization to coordinate and consolidate all Center City organizations into one cooperative effort. The board is composed of representatives from each of the districts and organizations Downtown Springfield Association, Springfield Finance and Development Corporation, Springfield Regional Arts Council, Historic Walnut Street Association, Commercial Club, plus the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Springfield, Springfield City Council, Greene County, City Utilities, Drury University, Ozarks Technical Community College, Missouri State University, along with representation from developers and other interested parties.
