Friends of the Multnomah County Library (FOL) advocates for and supports our outstanding public library. We provide supplemental funding for library programs and services, and sponsor activities which engage people who value our library. One of the main fundraising activities of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is the sale of donated books, and since our founding in 1972, Friends of the Library has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to support our libraries via such sales.

Our returns and refund policies adhere to Abebooks standard policies. We take great care in describing the condition of our books and packaging them securely. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, and would appreciate any feedback you have to offer.

Shipping Terms

For orders in the USA we charge $4.99 shipping for the first book, $1.00 for each additional book; books are sent via USPS Media Mail. We package securely. Priority Mail orders are $19.99 for the first book, $5.00 for each additional book. Larger and heavier books or sets, especially those being sent outside the USA, may require an extra shipping charge. We will try to contact you if there is an extra charge for heavier books.
