Original vintage 1926 first American edition of the Arthur Rackham illustrated The Tempest. The book is in overall very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It is beautifully illustrated by Rackham with 20 color plates. The covers have some mild wear with some small tears to the cloth at the extremities of the spine. The binding is good and sound. There is slight evidence of a removed bookplate to the front pastedown. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean, though there may be the occasional page with a light bit of foxing or grubbiness. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, minor interior crack, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 10 inches by 7 1/4 inches and is 185 pages long.
